Band class. I’m sitting there setting up my clarinet when all of a sudden I look up and see this boy across the room carrying a saxophone. He is so interesting and pretty cute if I do say so myself.

That is my earliest memory of Josiah. I remember seeing him from across the room and being so intrigued by him and really I wanted to know him. I was a very shy little girl during middle school so talking to him was out of the question. I did what every girl in middle school did. My friends would talk to him for me. There was something about him that I knew one day we would be very close. It sounds crazy, I know, but I have always remembered that moment as the moment I fell in love with him. I may not have known it at the time but something switched in me that day and I knew there was something very special about that boy.

I have known from that day in band class that he was going to be so significant in my life. Who knew he was going to be the man I will marry?
